In a press release on real estate market announced in early 2019, General Director of Savills Vietnam Neil Macgregor had positive comment on high-end apartment segment in Hanoi, saying that projects with many utilities will sell well. “Apartment market is driven by powerful housing demand, while high-end segment is attracting attention of billionaires within the country and in the region”, said the director. Despite of being evaluated as a “hard-to-sell” segment, a recent report of Savills Vietnam said that Hanoi in 2019 records a big supply of 41,300 apartment units, in which high-end apartment segment occupies a good number. Also, according to a survey of CBRE Vietnam’s on transactions in high-end and luxury segment, the market is attracting attention of foreign home-buyers.
