With limited supply, South Saigon real estate makes a new price floor

Lacking of CBD land supplies, a wave of residents concentrates in South Saigon where infrastructure and traffic are strongly invested and developed. This factor that make South Saigon real estate, especially District 7, create a new pricing floor. Housing demand in South Saigon has increased, but its property supply is still limited due to many factors. According to a CBRE Vietnam’s report on HCMC real estate market in Q1-2019, due to being affected by limited licensing of new projects, supplies in all segments have become scarce, down 12pct on-year.
