Located just 25 minutes by yacht from Ho Chi Minh City’s Bach Dang wharf, the ecological Angel Island is expected to offer a classy and sustainable living space for successful customers.

Angel Island has been built on a pristine island located southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, close to District 1. The island is surrounded by the river, which is exclusively owned by Song Tien Corporation and spans over 204 hectares. The island is set to become the exclusive eco-urban living space for those who value privacy and quality of life.

To create such a worthy living space for the upper class, Song Tien Corporation cooperated with more than 20 prestigious domestic and international partners in infrastructure, master planning, architecture, landscaping, technology, and interior design. All partners have years of experience in implementing large well-known projects such as smart and island cities, high rise commercial and residential, multi-functional parks, and meditation gardens.

Strategic cooperation

As one of the prominent names on the list of Song Tien’s partners, Singaporean infrastructure and urban development consultancy Surbana Jurong played a leading role in master planning of the architectural & landscape design. With the support of Surbana Jurong – which likened the project to Singapore’s Sentosa Cove – Angel Island’s concept includes amenities such as an integrated commercial centre, an amusement park, waterways and natural canals for kayaking, and parks blending with typical Vietnamese landscapes.

The parks, which include a central water park, a special ecological area, a riverside park, and themed park represents Song Tien’s ideal for modern ecological living through Surbana Jurong’s core design elements, which are hoped to entice high-end residents and international tourists valuing sustainable and high-quality lifestyles.

“Song Tien Corporation has a perfectionist mindset and is constantly looking for new, creative design ideas, and we believe that no single design solution can be applied to all projects. That is why our team of experts have studied the market and came up with many innovative solutions, exclusively put together for Angel Island,” said Oliver Ng, director of Landscape and Architecture at Surbana Jurong.

Song Tien also cooperated with AECOM, a world-leading infrastructure consulting firm listed among the Fortune 500. Participating in the Angel Island project, AECOM provided professional services in planning, design, and engineering to create a sustainable ecosystem on the island and ensure maximum safety and security, backed by smart technology and green energy systems.

In addition to Surbana Jurong and AECOM, Song Tien’s list of partners also includes marina construction and management consultancy 3Ti, Hard Rock Hotel & Resort International, architecture and landscape consultancy Kume Design Asia, structure – mechanical, electrical and plumbing design consultancy RFR FV, Pacific Corporation, construction consultancy TW-ASIA, interior designer Vertical Studio, master planning, construction and infrastructure management firm Van Aelst – Nguyen & Partners, and smart technology provider VTCO.

Iconic living space

Song Tien’s cooperation with these prestigious and experienced partners from a multitude of fields has enabled a holistic development that led to creating the living space on Angel Island, which exemplifies the company’s strategic vision and sustainable development mindset.

As a sustainable approach and respect for nature have been carefully integrated into the entire development process from the start, Song Tien was able to balance iconic buildings and luxurious living space equipped with modern utilities with the surrounding natural area and water surfaces.

Accordingly, the construction density on the island only accounts for 18.8 per cent (38.4ha) of the total area, including a complex of villas, commercial shophouses, and apartment towers.

Another 12 per cent (25ha) is planned for a world-class entertainment area with an outdoor theme park and a water park; and 15.5 per cent for other facilities such as commercial centres, hotels, marinas, international-standard general clinics, inter level schools, art centres, and healthcare institute for the elderly.

The remaining near-110ha – more than half of the island – is covered with more than 20,000 trees from 99 species planted among countless flowers, medicinal plants, and fruit trees. Along with the landscaped riverside, these internal parks will ensure that the island has ample green spaces with fresh air, offering a boost to the residents’ health and energy balance.

According to the developer, the island’s natural topography is divided into six sub-islands by using various canals allowing for enhanced privacy and security. Song Tien has used this advantage endowed by nature to develop a peaceful and poetic living space, with the intelligently designed master plan making sure that every villa maximises its views of the natural splendor.

With its investment and dedication, Song Tien is positioning Angel Island to become a permanent legacy and a proud symbol of Vietnam’s urban development and global integration process

Soon, the island will offer the most upscale living experiences for residents who are looking for a life that is close to the centre of one of Vietnam’s largest cities and meets their needs for comfort and entertainment, while also being eco-friendly.
